Managing the privacy of your organisation profile
What to consider when managing the visibility of your organisation and its opportunities.
At Reach, we are big fans of transparency. When you are looking for a volunteer or trustee, it's important to give them the information they need to decide if they are the right match. But we also know that you might not want to share everything with all of the internet.
Advice
- Please remember that opportunities and organisation profiles published on Reach will be available to everyone, not just members of our site. They are shared externally with partners like LinkedIn and will be indexed by Google and other search engines.
- If you have sensitive information, or information that contains personal data, please consider if you should send it to volunteers after an application is made, rather than posting it on your profile or opportunity.
- If for safety reasons you do not want to publish your organisation's location, please indicate this when creating your organisation profile by adding "Address withheld" to the ‘Address line 1’ field, and then the town name. Use a nearby generic, real postcode. Managing the location of your organisation and opportunities.
