Worcester Operatic & Dramatic Society was established in 1892 and exists to provide musical theatre performances to the community in the Worcester area. As well as providing entertainment to the public, we participate in the local arts community in Worcester and raise money for local charities at each of our shows.
We recruit and train aspiring performers through our youth group (WODYS) and the show rehearsals for our senior group. We provide funding to support members wishing to attend Summer School training courses and on-site workshops as well as mentoring of members wishing to take on leadership roles in the production teams.
