London Gardens Trust (LGT) is a charity affiliated to the national Gardens Trust (GT). LGT seeks to: 

• champion all  London green space and make observations on planning proposals, both on behalf of the  GT, for sites on the Historic England Register of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest and relating to other green open spaces
• celebrate the beauty, horticulture, history, ecology and value of green space, including through Open Garden Squares Weekend
• cultivate knowledge and appreciation of London's green infrastructure and the people who care for it, including through lectures and guided walks.
