Objectives

A Brain injury (accident, stroke, tumour, illness) can happen to anyone, at any time, any age.  It can devastate lives, shatter families and leave people in desperate need of support.  Our aim is to provide much needed services and support for survivor and their families to learn, adapt and rebuild their lives.

A brain injury can leave a person with physical and cognitive disabilities.  Many issues are hidden disabilities and it can make living with a brain injury quite isolating.

Every 90 seconds someone is admitted to a UK hospital with a brain injury.

Activities

There are zero statutory services for brain injury survivors post hospital discharge in Darlington, Dales and most of Tees Valley.  We have developed multiple services and support to help close those gaps.
