We are a housing charity based in South Wales. We prevent homelessness, provide housing and create opportunities. We have existed for almost 50 years, firstly as SASH (Swansea Action for Single Homeless), then as Caer Las, Today, we are Goleudy - Welsh for 'Lighthouse'.
Goleudy exists for our clients and our community. Our core purpose is to prevent homelessness, provide housing and create opportunities for our clients. We also run Swansea Community Fridge, redistributing surplus fresh food into the community that would otherwise go to waste.
We provide services over four South West Wales counties: Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea, and Neath- Port Talbot. We provide housing, support services, specialist mental health services and homelessness prevention services. We also have a 24-hour hostel, and we run Swansea's first Community Fridge, which redistributes surplus food, which would otherwise go to waste.
