Dementia Action Support those living with dementia and their carers in the Marlow and surrounding areas. We facilitate interaction with social gatherings including singing, fitness and outings. We run a regular Carers Group and provide Information. We campaign for better services by trying raise awareness of the difficulties many have. DAM participate on local health and wellbeing committees. For many we are their only support.
We offer three social sessions a week including singing, fitness, as well as a monthly carers group. We also offer outings in the summers and events such as Christmas lunches, Pantomime visits, Fish and Chip lunches in the winter. We are invited to participate on local committees and strategy groups. We network with other dementia groups outside of our area.
