Objectives

Cherubim loans professional-calibre instruments to first-study musicians aged 15-25 who cannot afford one that matches their potential. Founded 17 years ago, the trust now owns and loans more than 20 instruments worth over £200,000.

Activities

The Trust raises funds for the purchase of instruments by appealing for donations and by raising income from musical events featuring musicians in receipt of its instruments on loan. In 2018 events include a Gabrielli weekend, an evening concert of  ‘Midsummer Song’ and a three-day Youth Music Festival.
