As a UK learning disability charity and not-for-profit organisation, Camphill Village Trust brings 70 years of experience, knowledge and passion to supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and neurodivergence, mental health challenges and complex needs. We offer supported living, day activities and opportunities, and the chance to develop new skills, independence, and a life of opportunity. Our vision is to be a national leader in Social and Green Care Integration, enabling more adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems to live healthy, active and independent lives. Our mission is to improve health equity and wellbeing outcomes through high quality, person-centred support delivered within a culture of co-production.
There are nine Camphill Village Trust communities across England, each in its own unique setting. Wherever our support is located – urban or rural, it is shaped by the people we support and driven by our passion to see everyone as active citizens with a life of opportunity that is recognised, valued and appreciated. We explore with each person how we can support, encourage and empower them to make informed choices, gain life skills and contribute to society in a way that brings purpose and meaning to them. Alongside the chance to make friends and build relationships, we offer opportunities for people with learning and other disabilities to learn and develop skills through a range of individual and shared activities, from our own established land and craft-based resources through to structured learning and therapeutic programmes, voluntary experience, and employment.
