ACT actively works with the acting profession to contact all actor-parents, awarding grants to families on low income for any useful purpose (but not private school education).  We fund childcare which often is the lifeline to keep an actor-parent in the profession they love. We award grants for activities (including for very talented young people in the arts and sport), kit and uniform, SEN assessments and support, school trips, respite care, specialist equipment. We are here to signpost actor-parents to other support, and offer advice and advocacy.  It is a privilege often to be in contact with families from the birth of their children right through to ACT student grants when they are at university or an apprentice.
