Deadline

13 Sep 2024

An opportunity has arisen for one or two Trustees to join our Board due to the retirement of long-serving members. We are a dedicated, friendly bunch allocating grant funds to local projects.

What will you be doing?

We would love to hear from experienced candidates who live, work or study in the Borough of Hounslow.  We are fortunate to have a large investment and are able to use the interest and some capital to fund projects to the benefit of the borough with a focus on disadvantaged young people. We have just reviewed our strategies and this is an exciting time for us with new staff, a new approach and lots of opportunities.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who can offer their time and experience- both lived and business- to help shape and direct the charity, operationally and strategically.  If you are able to offer general business skills, or project management, or specialist areas such as legal, marketing, digital, finance, HR, then we would love to hear from you.  If you are not able to offer these but have other skills, please do get in touch, your contribution will still be welcome.

What difference will you make?

We are able to fund projects making a real difference to young people in the borough; as a Trustee you would have a real impact on these lives by discussing and making decisions about which projects to fund, and supporting the bidders to successfully carry them out. Each project is appointed a Lead Trustee to liaise and oversee it, which can be as much or as little time as suits you. You would have a unique opportunity to steer, hands-on, the projects we invest in, alongside the usual oversight and governance role of a Trustee.
