What will you be doing?

As a Social Media Content Creator volunteer, you will be responsible for developing and sharing content that promotes education awareness, highlights our community programmes, and engages with our online supporters around the world. Your creativity and communication skills will play a key role in connecting with individuals who need support and spreading our message of explore, empower, evolve.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative social media posts, including graphics, videos, stories, and written content.
Campaign Development: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote education awareness, community programmes, fundraising events, and other initiatives.
Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on our social media platforms. Foster a supportive and positive online community by engaging with followers and providing helpful information and resources.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Use insights to optimise content strategy and enhance audience engagement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the trustees and management teams to align social media content with overall organisational goals and campaigns. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our online presence.

What are we looking for?

We would like to see a skill set of :

A strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
Experience in creating engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in an accessible and empathetic manner.
Passion for education advocacy.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve content performance.
Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to developing content and engaging with our audience.
