    Peckham Town FC are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Coaches/Assistant Coaches for our various Boys/Girls and Mens/Womens teams.

    What will you be doing?

    Peckham Town FC are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Coaches/Assistant Coaches for weekly after school football sessions and/or Sat/Sun matches for our various Boys/Girls age groups.We are always looking to add expertise to our coaching team and have a range of activities across the week at different times. With a growing Girls section we are particularly keen to hear from female coaches looking to coach girls.Coaches are hired on a voluntary basis but are provided with Peckham Town FC kit and equipment. The Club may also support coaches financially looking to enhance their skills and knowledge with FA or UEFA coaching qualifications during their time coaching at the club. Essential:-Previous experience with or knowledge on children’s sport coaching-FA Level 1 Coaching certificate -The ability to travel independently-Able to commit to weekly training sessions-FA Safeguarding for Children certificate (there might be capacity for the club to pay for this depending on applicants situation)*All applicants will have to undergo the mandatory FA DBS check.*Those applying to be an Assistant Coach will need an FA SafePlease email your CV to: developmentpeckhamtownfc@gmail.com

    What are we looking for?

    -Experience in running coaching sessions.-Ability to plan training sessions and give constructive advice in a variety of ways for participants and parents to learn from.-Being prepared to make a long term regular commitment to deliver consistent high quality coaching and sporting activities to young people of all ages-Having a good knowledge of football and having confident and possessing great leadership skills.

    With your help we will be able to expand as a club and offer more sessions for the community which means more young peoples lives in South London can be transformed for the better.We have a long waiting list for young people in the area that want access to safe and high-quality football training in their local area and with more Coaches and Assistant Coaches we can get closer to meeting this demand.You will also be supporting us in our commitment to ensure that extracurricular activities are equally accessible for all children regardless of their family's socioeconomic situation in our community.
