How to create an organisation profile

In order to recruit volunteers and trustees with Reach, you will need to have an organisation profile.  Having an organisation profile will introduce your organisation to volunteers and showcase your impact. Here you can find out more on how to create your profile.

How do I create an organisation profile?

1. First, create your personal account. You will be asked to provide a name, display name and email address, and this will be the information you use to log into Reach. Once you've submitted your details, you'll receive a verification email to complete your account set up. Click on the link in this email to set up your personal account.

2. When you next login, you should see the ‘Create or Join an organisation’ prompt on your dashboard:

3. The next two pages explain how Reach works, and outlines the potential costs for using Reach. It's free to recruit skills-based volunteers, and we only charge larger organisations for trustee recruitment. Read more about when and what we charge.

4. After this, you will be directed to complete your organisation profile. We'll use this information to check you meet our criteria, and then to create your public profile.

Completing the organisation form

1. Search your organisation’s name to see if it already exists and click Search.

2. If your organisation already exists, you will not need to create a profile from scratch. Instead you can click on Request to join, and make the request to join the existing profile. The 'primary contact' for your organisation will be sent an email asking to approve your request. If they are not available, please email us: [email protected]. If your organisation doesn't already have an account on Reach, click Continue with registration.

  • Date your organisation was established
  • Your logo (this is optional)

7. Review and Submit

After you’ve filled out your organisation profile, review what you’ve added and make any changes before submitting. If you want to, you can click on the steps at the top of the page to go backwards through the form. All your changes will be saved.

Once you click on Submit, you will get a message to confirm that your organisation profile has been submitted and is under review.

What happens when I submit my profile?

Once you submit your organisation profile, someone from the Reach service team will review it and check you meet our criteria for organisations. If you do, we’ll approve your profile within three working days - although it can take longer during busy periods.

You will get an email to confirm when your profile has been approved. If we have any questions, we'll be in touch. Find out more about how and why we review organisations.

Can I post my opportunity while I’m waiting?

Yes! Absolutely, whilst you wait, you can now create a draft opportunity.  Any opportunities you submit will be reviewed once your organisation profile has been activated. More information about how to post an opportunity.
