Editing an opportunity

If you need to make amendments to your role, such as changing your closing date, or editing the text, you can do this via your Reach dashboard. Once you have saved your changes, they will appear immediately.

How can I edit my opportunity? 

  1. Log into your Reach account and go to your dashboard
  2. Choose the Opportunities tab on the left side panel of your dashboard
  3. Find the opportunity you want to copy and under More and click on the icon with three dots
  4. Click on the option to Edit opportunity

5. You will see the opportunity form - don’t forget that you can switch across the tabs at the top of the form to find the section that you need to edit faster.

6. Make the edits, and click Save - you will see a green pop up message that will confirm that your opportunity has been updated.

How can I change the closing date?

Log into your Reach account and go to your dashboard 

  1. Choose the Opportunities tab on the left side panel of your dashboard
  2. Find the opportunity you want to copy and under More and click on the icon with three dots
  3. Click on the option to Edit opportunity
  4. At the top of the page, click on the How to Apply tab
  5. Scroll to the Closing date section and select a new date from the calendar. Please note that roles can only remain live for a maximum of six months from the day it was originally posted.

Add in your new deadline and click Save - you will see a green pop up message that will confirm that your opportunity has been updated.

 

My opportunity is Paused and the closing date has passed, but I am still recruiting. Can I reactivate it?



If it is within six months of the date you originally posted the role, yes. Here is what to do if you want to reopen your Paused role and give it a new closing date: 

  1. Log into your Reach account and go to your dashboard
  2. Choose the Opportunities tab on the left side panel of your dashboard
  3. Find the opportunity you want to reopen, and click on Reactivate Opportunity  
  4. You will see the edit opportunity screen.
  5. Click on the How to Apply tab, which you will find at the top of the page
  6. Scroll down to the Closing Date section and select a new date
  7. Click Save
  8. Go back to the Opportunities tab on the left side panel of your dashboard
  9. Find your opportunity, and click on Reactivate Opportunity
  10. A pop up message will appear asking you to confirm if you want to activate your role, click on Yes, reactivate opportunity. 

 

If you wish to reactivate your Paused role but the closing date has not yet passed: 
 

  1. Choose the Opportunities tab on the left side panel of your dashboard
  2. Find the opportunity you want to reopen, and click on Reactivate Opportunity  
  3. A pop up message will appear asking you to confirm if you want to activate your role, click on Yes, reactivate opportunity.
