Our objectives
Yorkshire Miners' Welfare Convalescent Homes (YMWCH) is a small charity whose aim is to provide support and opportunities for convalescence and restorative breaks to those who were formerly employed in the Yorkshire coal mining industry together with eligible relatives.
Such breaks provide a welcome respite to our beneficiaries most of whom are elderly and suffering from age-related conditions.

We aim to support our beneficiaries in sourcing a break from their normal routine.
