We seek a new trustee to help shape the future of our small charity (YMWCH) in order to deliver a service to our ex-coal mining and eligible relatives of the Yorkshire coalfield community.

What will you be doing?

As a trustee you will take part in the decision-making processes to develop a new operational model.  

We would welcome someone who can match the drive and enthusiasm of our existing trustees in providing a service to our beneficiaries.

We aim to provide support and opportunities for convalescence and restorative breaks to those who were formerly employed in the Yorkshire coalfield together with eligible relatives.

 

What are we looking for?

We seek someone with experience in financial management, marketing and web design.

(not necessarily all of the above).

We would also welcome someone who has experience and compassion regarding the needs of the elderly.

 

What difference will you make?

As a trustee, you will help to ensure that our trustee body can develop a new operational model and overcome the hurdles that this will present.
