Our objectives
Welcome to Pitchstone Music, based in Leytonstone, East London, where we believe in the transformative power of music to connect and uplift communities.
Our vision is three-fold:
- To bring world-class, live, classical music to audiences regardless of barriers such as mobility, cost or geography, starting with the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
- To make chamber music accessible to young people through curriculum-aligned activities for schools.
- To bring music to places where joy is needed the most, e.g. hospitals, prisons, domestic violence shelters, refugees centres, homeless shelters.
Our activities

Pitchstone Music delivers world-class, free, accessible chamber music concerts of the highest quality to community places such as churches, community centres, theatres and non-traditional event spaces. Working with the UK’s most esteemed classical artists we create bold and diverse chamber music programmes that are relevant and accessible to all.

Pitchstone Music creates curriculum-aligned projects for schools to support cognitive, emotional and social wellbeing and development for pupils and students at all ages and stages.
- Through trauma-informed, co-created participatory work, Pitchstone Music brings music to hospitals, prisons, hospices and vulnerable groups. In these places music isn’t a luxury - it’s a lifeline. It’s a means to feel safe, seen, and connected to others. Working in close collaboration with the UK’s leading facilitators in participatory work, and musicians trained in this field, we continuously strive to support our community.
