YouTube Channel and Growth Lead
We’re looking for someone to build and grow Pitchstone Music’s Youtube channel -sharing world-class concert performances & podcasts online, using SEO insights to reach wider audiences. Can you help us to create an engaging digital home for our work?
What will you be doing?
Pitchstone Music is a Leytonstone-based organisation sharing world-class chamber music with local communities through inclusive concerts, education programmes, and outreach. As we grow, we are building a digital platform to reach wider audiences and deepen engagement beyond the live concert experience.
You will take the lead on:
- Setting up and managing our YouTube channel from scratch
- Uploading and organising existing concert performance footage
- Optimising videos (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) using SEO best practice
- Using YouTube analytics to improve visibility and audience growth
- Advising on simple content strategies to build an engaged online audience
You will be working with a bank of existing concert recordings featuring outstanding professional musicians with the opportunity to shape how this is presented and discovered online. You’ll be working closely with the Founder/Artistic Director and a small, collaborative team, and will have the chance to enjoy ownership of this area as it develops.
This is a flexible role that can be shaped around your interests and availability, and would suit someone who enjoys combining creativity with digital strategy.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is proactive and excited by the idea of building something from the beginning.
It would be wonderful if you have an interest in YouTube as a platform and how content reaches audiences along with some experience uploading or managing video content (either professionally or personally). Also, an understanding of SEO principles (titles, keywords, descriptions, thumbnails) would be very useful along with either experience with YouTube Studio or a willingness to learn.
Do you have an interest in using data to improve performance and good organisational skills with attention to detail? These qualities would be necessary. It would also be particularly valuable (but not essential) if you have:
- Experience growing a YouTube channel or social media platform
- Knowledge of audience engagement strategies or digital marketing
- An interest in music, the arts, or community-based work
We are especially keen to hear from people who enjoy taking ownership of a project and seeing it develop over time. This role would suit someone who is both creative and strategic - someone who enjoys thinking about how content is presented as well as how it is discovered.

Your work will play a central role in helping Pitchstone Music reach communities beyond the concert hall.
At the moment our activities of world-class performances, inclusive family concerts, and community outreach is experienced only by those who are physically present. By building and growing our YouTube channel, you could help us share this work with a much wider audience, including those who may face barriers to attending live events.
Through your input, our concert performances will become an accessible and lasting digital resource, supporting our work with local communities, schools, those at risk of loneliness and isolation and underserved groups, helping more people discover and connect with classical music in a meaningful way.
Your work will also strengthen how we present ourselves to funders, partners, and stakeholders. A strong and engaging YouTube presence will allow us to demonstrate both the quality of our artistic work and the depth of our community impact, supporting future funding and long-term sustainability.
Most importantly, you will help us build a digital platform that reflects our core belief: that classical music is not an elite art form, but a shared cultural resource that can inspire, challenge, and bring people together.
