Packed with smiles
Our objectives
Packed with Smiles provide children in our local community with new uniform parcels and other school essentials, to ensure that they can fully participate in school.
We know that lacking a proper school uniform can distract from a child’s schooling and even affect a child’s health.
We aim to level the playing field and support self confidence in young people because we value their wellbeing and the huge potential they hold.
Our dream is that all children are given the opportunity to attend school feeling equal, confident and ready to create their own future.
Our activities
Packed with Smiles is dedicated to ensuring that every child can attend school with dignity, confidence and the essential clothing they need to learn and thrive. Every day, we work closely with schools, safeguarding teams and local professionals to identify children experiencing hardship and provide them with full school uniform parcels tailored to their needs. These parcels include branded uniform, PE kit, shoes, coats and essential items, helping children feel included, prepared and able to participate fully in school life.
Our aim is to reduce the impact of poverty on children’s education and wellbeing. We support families facing financial crisis, ill‑health, unemployment, domestic difficulties and other challenging circumstances. By removing the barrier of uniform costs, we help improve attendance, confidence, behaviour and engagement in learning.
Our objectives are to:
- Provide high‑quality uniform support to children in hardship
- Strengthen relationships between families and schools
- Reduce stigma and social exclusion
- Improve educational outcomes and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with local partners to support vulnerable families
We also collect and analyse impact data to understand the difference our support makes. Our findings show significant improvements in attendance, confidence, social interaction and parental engagement.
Packed with Smiles is committed to ensuring that no child misses out on education because of financial hardship. Our work provides immediate relief for families while contributing to long‑term positive change in children’s lives.
