Our objectives
We support vulnerable children and young people aged 0–25, along with their families, carers, schools and professionals, particularly those experiencing emotional, behavioural or mental health challenges. Many of the young people we work with have experienced trauma, are neurodivergent, are fostered or adopted, or are struggling to access timely and appropriate support through traditional services.
We help by providing person-centred mental health support through one-to-one and group therapy, arts therapies, counselling, parent and carer support, webinars, and specialist training for professionals and schools. Our work is delivered in schools, community settings and online, helping children and families access support in ways that feel safe, flexible and approachable. We also provide training and supervision to professionals so they can better support the mental wellbeing of the children and young people they work with.
Our work matters because many children and young people are facing increasing levels of anxiety, trauma, school avoidance, neurodiversity-related challenges and emotional distress, while struggling to access early intervention or specialist support. By offering accessible, compassionate and creative mental health services, we help children build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, strengthen relationships and feel more able to thrive at home, in school and in their communities. We also empower parents, carers and professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to better support young people, creating wider and longer-lasting positive outcomes.
Our activities
We deliver specialist mental health, wellbeing and therapeutic support for children, young people and families. Our core activities include providing one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions, including counselling, play therapy, arts therapies and trauma-informed support for children and young people experiencing emotional, behavioural and mental health challenges.
We work closely with schools, local authorities, foster and adoptive families, and community organisations to deliver early intervention and targeted support that improves emotional wellbeing and resilience. Alongside direct support for young people, we provide parent and carer support programmes, workshops and guidance to help families better understand and respond to children’s emotional needs.
A key part of our work is also training and supporting professionals. We deliver specialist training, webinars, supervision and consultancy for schools and organisations on areas including trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity, attachment, mental health and emotional wellbeing. Through these activities, we aim to build safer, more supportive environments where children and young people can thrive.
