Objectives

Music and the deaf is a unique national charity which helps to open up music opportunities for people of all ages and with any level of hearing loss. Our work ensures that through music making, deaf and hard of hearing people are not excluded from accessing and enjoying music. Our activities enrich lives - raising deaf awareness, bridging deaf and hearing communities, raising aspirations and reducing the sense of isolation that deaf people experience. We are looking for Trustees to help us continue and develop this vital work. We are most interested in hearing from anyone with an interest in the arts, strategic development, marketing and fundraising.

Activities

We seek to push the boundaries of what deaf people can achieve through accessing and enjoying music through a range of services - education projects, awareness talks, training, consultation and performances.
