MC Female Network CIC
Our objectives
MC Female Network CIC supports Black and racially minoritised women, girls, young people, and families across the UK, particularly those experiencing barriers linked to race, gender, migration, social isolation, poor mental wellbeing, unemployment, or limited access to opportunities.
We exist to create culturally safe, inclusive spaces where people can build confidence, develop new skills, improve their wellbeing, celebrate their cultural identity, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Our work includes delivering culturally competent training, mentoring, wellbeing workshops, heritage and identity projects, employability support, youth development initiatives, and community engagement programmes. Through projects such as Reclaiming Our Roots, we preserve and celebrate Black cultural heritage while empowering communities to reconnect with their histories and identities.
Our support matters because many of the communities we work with face inequalities that are often overlooked or poorly understood. By combining lived experience with culturally responsive approaches, we help reduce isolation, improve confidence and mental wellbeing, strengthen community connections, and create pathways into education, employment, and leadership.
Ultimately, our objective is to build stronger, healthier and more resilient communities where Black and racially minoritised women and young people feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
