Help4Homeless
Our objectives
Help4Homeless supports homeless and rough sleeping individuals in Peterborough by delivering £10 wellbeing packs directly to people in need. Each pack contains essential items including warm socks, hygiene products, snacks, hand warmers, hot chocolate, and more. We exist because homelessness is not an abstract issue — it is happening on the streets of our city, and we believe that every person deserves to be seen and cared for. Founded in 2025 by a 17-year-old who noticed a man sleeping rough under a bridge, Help4Homeless was built on a simple but powerful principle: every penny donated goes directly into a pack, and every pack goes directly to a real person. We start local, we stay transparent, and we grow through community.
Our activities
Help4Homeless carries out three core activities:
- Pack assembly and distribution — We source, assemble and hand-deliver £10 wellbeing packs to homeless individuals across Peterborough. Contents vary seasonally to meet changing needs.
- Community fundraising — We raise funds through our GoFundMe and direct donations, with a strict policy that all money goes directly into pack materials with zero overhead costs.
- Volunteer coordination — We recruit and coordinate local volunteers to help us assemble and distribute packs, giving community members a direct and meaningful way to help people experiencing homelessness in their city.
