Our objectives

BeScience STEM is a social enterprise providing a means of creatively exploring STEM subjects with disadvantaged youths from deprived areas since 2016. With a mission of exposing 1 Million young people to the STEM industry by 2030, we strive to empower those with financial barriers, low aspirations or poor achievement.

Our activities

  1. Our Hackathons simulate a real industry project and help students foster teamwork and problem-solving skills. Students are offered mentorship sessions with industry volunteers while building their solutions for the chosen problem statement.
  2. Our Speed Networking events help connect students to industry volunteers and leaders, inspiring career aspirations and expanding networks.
  3. Our Insight Days provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into cutting-edge STEM industries.
  4. Our STEM Socials are interactive conferences designed to bridge the gap between the future leaders of STEM and the current leaders of STEM.
  5. Our Skills Workshop speakers are facilitated by industry volunteers and help students focus on soft skills to help prepare them to join the STEM industry.
