We are looking for a passionate and proactive manager to lead the development and execution of business partnerships

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a Partnership and Business Development Manager to lead the development and execution of business partnerships. In this role, you will help us expand our network, build meaningful connections, and secure opportunities that align with our mission. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to STEM education while gaining valuable experience in partnerships, outreach, and strategic planning.

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Contribute to designing and developing strategic growth initiatives aimed at advancing partnerships, enabling income generation, strengthening community impact and ensuring alignment of partnerships with long-term goals.
  • Partnership Development:
    • Assist in identifying, developing and negotiating proposals and cultivating mutually beneficial partnership relationships with businesses including:
      • sponsorship  
      • in kind donation opportunities 
    • Build and sustain relationships with current and potential sponsors.
    • Maintain ongoing engagement with partners to foster long-term collaboration.
  • Community Engagement
    • Support Be Science STEM in collaborating with educational institutions and non-profits to promote STEM initiatives.
    • Support Be Science STEM in collaborating with schools, STEM organizations, sponsors, and community groups.
  • Analytics & Optimisation
    • Track and report on the impact of partnership relationships including sponsorship and in kind donations.
  • Collaboration & Cross‑Team Support

    • Work with all BeScience STEM teams to support initiatives. 

     

 

What are we looking for?

  • Essential

    • Three years’ experience in outreach, partnership development, or business relations.
    • Enthusiastic about STEM education and its potential to inspire diverse audiences.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
    • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

     

  • Desirable
    • Experience working with young people, education, or STEM‑related initiatives.
    • Understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in STEM.
