The Sleep Charity
Our objectives
The Sleep Charity is an organisation founded on lived experience. The charity supports individuals and families across the UK who are experiencing sleep difficulties. Our beneficiaries range from children and young people to adults and older people, including those with additional needs, mental health challenges, and those affected by poverty.
Our objectives are around reducing health inequalities, providing evidence based information and support widely and supporting the nation to sleep better.
Our activities
We provide a range of services including one-to-one sleep clinics, national helpline support, group workshops, training for professionals, peer support programmes, and the distribution of evidence-based information. Our team of Sleep Practitioners delivers tailored interventions that empower people to improve their sleep and overall wellbeing.
Sleep is a vital pillar of health, yet millions are affected by poor sleep, which can lead to serious consequences including reduced mental and physical health, poor educational attainment, lost productivity, and even increased risk of accidents. Our work helps to reduce health inequalities, support mental resilience, and enhance quality of life—because we believe everyone has the right to a good night's sleep.
