Mission 

• Empower people to become social innovators who take the lead to create effective, efficient, equitable and sustainable solutions to address poverty, inequality, climate change, and access to education and healthcare. 
• Encourage and provide support for people to share their own life experiences, methods, and tools to participate in social innovation initiatives and generate ideas that produce projects, products and policies that meet social needs in a better way.  
• Work collaboratively with global actors and the innovation community to co-evolve capabilities through shared mission, resources, knowledge, infrastructure, culture and governance to anchor, accelerate and integrate social innovation initiatives and practices.  
• Promote social innovation and cross sectoral social innovation initiatives and pro-actively support the global mapping of social innovation by measuring the emergence, spread and evolution of social innovations and social innovation ecosystems.
