Our objectives

Diver’s Community CIC is a community-driven organisation dedicated to providing critical support to individuals experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping. Based in Birmingham, our work is focused on delivering practical assistance, essential outreach services, and facilitating pathways towards long-term stability. With a deep-rooted commitment to empowering the most vulnerable in our community, we pride ourselves on delivering tailored support that makes a measurable difference.

In the past year alone, Diver’s Community CIC has supported 443 individuals, responding to the urgent needs of the homeless population in Birmingham. With the ongoing economic crisis, including the rising cost of living, we anticipate a significant increase in demand for our services. As a non- profit organisation, we rely heavily on volunteers, fundraising initiatives and grant support to sustain our efforts and address the evolving needs of those who need us most.

  • Our volunteer-led model helps build community awareness and solidarity around the issue of homelessness. We collaborate with local residents, businesses, and supporters through fundraising initiatives and community drives to sustain and grow our impact.

3. Planning for Long-Term Support Pathways (In Development)

  • While our current focus is on immediate needs, we recognize the importance of long-term solutions.
  • We are exploring partnerships and funding opportunities to expand into areas such as housing referrals, benefit support, and mental health access.
  • Our goal is to develop a more holistic support model that helps individuals move from crisis to stability.

4. Sustainable Service Delivery

  • As a non-profit, we rely on a dedicated team of volunteers, community donations, grants, and fundraising efforts.
