Join our Christian women's .charity at a pivotal moment. As a Trustee for Fundraising & Income generation ,you'll help us secure National lottery funding and lead our organisations expansion-growing community meals ,cookery lessons for women and the residents
What will you be doing?
Our Women's Charity uses food to build skills, create connection and support those facing hardship. Through the Community Hub Kitchen in Staffordshire ,we run cookery and cake making lessons for women and families ,cook community meals for homeless people and residents, and operate a small catering service that generate income to keep us sustainable
This year .we are expecting to make important decisions about National lottery Community Fund applications and the future expansion of WOJA women services. We are looking for a trustee with experience in grant writing or income generation, ideally within charities that have undergone major transformation or restructuring . You'll help us secure National lottery funding and grow WOJA women services for the next 3 years
We need someone who can advise on grants ,co operate partnership and sustainable income from our catering services ,with business skills and a passion for supporting disadvantaged women and families. homeless people and residents through food.

What are we looking for?
Role-The Trustee for Fundraising and Income Generation will work with the Board to develop and oversee strategies that diversity and grow our income during this perfect period of change.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on fundraising strategy ,including grants ,trusts corporate partnerships, community fundraising and trading income from our catering service
- Support National Lottery Community fund applications ,other major funding bids linked with WOJA Women Service expansion
- Help develop our catering service as a sustainable social enterprise -advising on prices ,contracts and marketing
- Building relationships with funders,local businesses and partners who share our values and commitment to women and families
- Contribute to board governance and strategic planning as we lead our charity through transformation
What we are looking for ?
- Experience in fundraising ,business development ,grant writing and income generation
- Experience in charities that have undergone restructuring or major change -change management experience is highly valued
- Alignment with our mission of supporting disadvantaged women and families ,homeless people and residents through food
- No trustee experience needed -induction and training provided

1.Keep essential services running -Community Kitchen Hub exists to use food as a tool for dignity, skills ,inclusion and connection .The meals we cook for homeless people are often the only hot nutritious food they receive in a week .The cookery lessons we run for women for women and residents build confidence ,reduce food waste and help parents feed their children well on limited budget. Your ability to secure grants ,develop corporate partnership and strengthen our catering income will directly keep these services open. Every funding application you support, every new income stream you build means more ovens on, more lessons delivered ,and more poor people fed .
2.You will also enable strategic growth and build long term sustainability. Our small catering service is more than a side project -its a social enterprise that generates income to cover costs and reduce our reliance on grants .As a trustee you will help us price contracts well, market our offers effectively ,and pursue new opportunities that align with our charity values. Your commercial insight will help our charity become more resilient ,so we can plan for the future with confidence .
