What are we looking for?
- Strategic Financial Vision: Ability to think strategically about the organisation’s long-term financial direction, ensuring that our financial goals align with our mission to advance social justice and women’s rights.
- Governance and Oversight Expertise: A solid understanding of governance principles, with experience in financial leadership roles within nonprofit or charitable organisations, ensuring best practices in fiscal governance.
- Advanced Financial Acumen: Strong skills in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and oversight, to maintain the fiscal health and sustainability of the organisation.
- Legal and Compliance Proficiency: Familiarity with the legal and regulatory requirements for nonprofit organisations, ensuring our financial practices comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Advocacy and Strategic Networking: Ability to advocate for our mission and build strategic partnerships with stakeholders, policymakers, and other organisations, enhancing our advocacy efforts and expanding our financial support network.
- Effective Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey our financial strategy, engage with diverse audiences, and represent the organisation professionally in various financial and strategic settings.
