Operational Director
MMARAP is a growing CIC organisation using sport and innovative fundraising activities to create opportunities for people from diverse/disabled background.
We're keen to improve a female representation within our leadership team & strongly encourage applications from women.
What will you be doing?
MMARAP is entering an important growth phase, with increasing activity across community engagement, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship development, events, and partnership opportunities. Our current directors generate a strong pipeline of ideas and opportunities, and we are now looking for an Operations Director to help turn those ideas into structured, real-world delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on implementation, organisation, and execution. The successful candidate will help ensure projects move from concept stage into effective delivery, while also helping MMARAP build stronger operational systems and long-term sustainability.
The role will involve working closely with MMARAP's directors to coordinate projects, events, fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and organisational initiatives. We are looking for someone who enjoys building, organising, problem-solving, and helping organisations grow in a practical and structured way.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for that female champion who is:
- Highly organised and proactive
- Strong at turning ideas into action
- Comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- Confident communicating with people from different backgrounds
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Passionate about community impact and development
Useful experience includes:
- Operations or project management
- Events coordination
- Community or charity sector experience
- Sports, wellbeing, or youth engagement programmes
- Partnership or stakeholder management
- Administration and organisational leadership
Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential — we value attitude, reliability, initiative, and practical execution skills.
What difference will you make?
As a growing organisation, MMARAP is increasingly involved in activities that require stronger coordination and operational leadership — including community programmes, charity skydives, sponsorship outreach, social impact initiatives, and collaborations with charities, businesses, and sporting organisations. The Operations Director will play a key role in helping these initiatives become more organised, scalable, and professionally delivered.
The successful candidate will help:
- Coordinate operational delivery across MMARAP projects and initiatives
- Improve communication and follow-through across activities
- Support event and programme organisation
- Develop systems and processes to support future growth
- Help maintain momentum and accountability across projects
- Contribute ideas and strategic thinking to support MMARAP's expansion
This role would suit someone with experience or interest in operations, project management, events, organisational leadership, or community development. We value practical execution ability, initiative, reliability, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset more than formal qualifications.
The impact of this role will be significant. By strengthening operational coordination and delivery, the Operations Director will help MMARAP increase its reach, improve the quality and consistency of its activities, build stronger partnerships, and create more opportunities for the communities we support.
This is also an opportunity to become part of a growing and ambitious organisation operating across sport, wellbeing, fundraising, and community engagement, while helping shape its future direction and long-term development.
