Speaking Out Forum is a small charity whose vision is a society where individuals have an equal voice, are able to speak out and be heard, thereby enabling them to make a contribution to society and to advocate for themselves and their peers. 

What will you be doing?

Our current trustees have expertise in charity operations, education and learning development, psychology and working with young people with SEND, autism and deafness. 

We are looking to complement the Board’s experience with fresh perspectives and in particular would welcome enquiries from individuals with experience in:

  • Finance
  • Education
  • Business development
  • Partnerships

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong commitment to our mission
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
  • The commitment to contribute to projects and work streams, share their expertise and support the delivery of the charity’s strategy and plan
  • A passion and enthusiasm for our work

What difference will you make?

We work primarily with young people with SEND, autism and those facing challenges in society, including experiencing stigma, discrimination and marginalisation.

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue to deliver our services and support a broad range of young people in the Greater Manchester community and further afield.
