An opportunity for a professional person(s) to join a growing heart-led Community Interest Company to offer it's skills and expertise and help to become a well structured and marketable organisation

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented Grants Manager to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy for MMARAP.

MMARAP has been helping thousands of people delivering MMA and motivational programmes since 2012. This year, we’ve been given the opportunity to expand our outreach services to Greater London - bringing vital practical and emotional support to those from disadvantaged backgrounds, Deaf/Blind and disabled.

However, to support this new service, we are in need of enthusiastic, pro-active and joyful person to help MMARAP to secure extra funding. We want to recruit a dynamic and experienced fundraiser, who can build and deliver a strategy to bring in more financial support to MMARAP.

We are open to all avenues - from individual giving to grants, to legacy donations. Most importantly, you’ll be responsible for both planning our fundraising and ‘making it happen’ on the ground, so this is the perfect role for any fundraiser who loves to get stuck in.

What are we looking for?

Are you that fun person that enjoys those successful moments that possess the skills and experience such as :-

  • Ability to write compelling, persuasive proposals
  • Adaptability
  • Strong research capabilities/attention to detail
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify funding opportunities
  • Proficiency in compliance and budgeting
  • Creativity and writing skills.
  • Numerical skills.

What difference will you make?

Your help will be valuable as it will make a difference to the young people that we engage with, bringing and introducing the young people as part of the MMARAP team but most importantly to fulfil and materialise the vision for the company

Being our Grants Manager, you’ll be bringing vital specialist skills and knowledge that complements the Board of Directors’ skill sets. In becoming part of the team, you’ll be providing guidance and reassurance for other team members (which we will be grateful for!) and, importantly, you’ll be enabling Directors to spend more time drawing on their professional skills and personal experiences to create and deliver new services.

Ultimately, you will be helping a social enterprise to succeed in its development stages and collectively achieve our goal to support more young people who are from disadvantage backgrounds, Deaf/Blind and disabled
