What will you be doing?

Every baby deserves to start a life with dignity .Every parent deserves to feel supported ,not ashamed ,when times  are hard .At our Christian Women's charity based in Stoke on Trent ,we believe  that no child should go without the basics. Through our blessing babies  bank ,we provide nappies ,wipes toiletries  and baby food to families experiencing child poverty -giving them practical help and restoring hope in moments of crisis.

Demand for Blessing Babies is growing .More families are struggling with rising costs of living .and more parents are turning to us for help .To meet this need ,we;re looking for an enthusiatic  new Trustee to join our board  and help us grow the baby bank initiative so we can support even more vulnerable and disadvantaged families

What we are looking for?

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds who share our passion of tackling child poverty .You don't need to be a previous Trustee experience-we will provide  full induction and support ,what matters most is your empathy for families in crisis ,and your willingness  to use your skills to help us grow .Experience in charity governance .fundraising, finance .HR, Safeguarding  or community work is valuable but lived experience and genuine enthusiasm  are equally important .

You will shape  the future of the Blessing Babies bank -advising on strategy ,strengthening governance and guiding how we reach more families across Staffordshire  .Whether your skills are in fundraising ,finance ,operations  ,safeguarding  or partnership building ,you will play a vital role in ensuring that essential baby items reach the parents who need them most .Your input will help us secure resources ,build relationships with local partners ,and develop a sustainable service  that can continue supporting families for years to come
