This is what your role as a Board Advisor will entail:
- Strategic Leadership:
As a Board Advisor, you must have independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.
- Advocacy and Representation:
Your role as a trusted spokesperson will contribute to the amplification of our charity's voice to reach wider audiences to further our cause.
- Oversight and Accountability:
You will work closely with key stakeholders, monitoring the implementation of strategic plans, the delivery of programs and services, and transparent management of resources.
- Collaboration and Partnership:
You will continually foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, partners, other STEM or youth-led organisations and young people.
- Governance and Compliance:
You will contribute to robust governance practices, monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and transparency.
