What will you be doing?
As a Volunteer Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our organisation by ensuring that relevant documentation is kept up to date and filing is accurate. You’ll assist with administrative tasks that keep our projects, communications, and campaigns organised and on track. Duties will include using Google Drive and Slack. You will need to develop a thorough understanding of the requirements of the business and team processes.
Skills:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) or Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information confidentially
- A keen interest in social justice and women’s rights is a plus.
- 3 years experience in an admin or similar role.
What are we looking for?
- Highly organised individual with close attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work on your own
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Flexibility and openness to change in a fast-pacing environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to use a computer and the main software packages competently
- 3 years experience in and admin or similar role.
What difference will you make?
We believe that art and creativity can change lives by helping to heal trauma and the damage caused by social injustice. You'll be helping to change lives and raise awareness of the experience of women in the justice system, whose stories are often hard to hear, but essential for radical reform to create a fairer society.
