About me
I am interested in contributing to the governance, strategic thinking, planning or scrutiny functions of charities and other organisations that deliver social benefit. I am an experienced chair, with a background in large-scale government and education projects, have been a teacher and musician and have recently stepped down as chair of a local charity after 10 years a trustee and having led the team of trustees in incorporating the charity, helping introduce good governance practice and build up an active pool of volunteers in the face of budget cuts.
What am I looking for?
I am now looking for a new challenge and a way to use my skills and experience for the benefit of other charities. I would like to get involved in a challenging project that aims to tackle inequality or injustice or to provide opportunities to young people.
