About me

An experienced Non-Executive Director, Chair and Committee member.  Non-Executive experience encompasses the private and not for profit, including operating in a regulatory environment in both housing and charity sectors.  Depth of consumer experience, with a real passion for ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and acted upon.  Strong interest in governance as a Chair and NED, including leading the board through a regulatory inspection and post-merger oversight.  Passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion leading to opportunity for all.  Environmental experience as a UK Sustainability Lead and trained by Al Gore as a Climate Reality Leader. Considerable experience in strategic planning, scrutiny, financial oversight, risk management, governance, customer engagement and transformation. This is combined with depth in people leadership, mentoring, talent management, organisational change and stakeholder engagement. Used to working with broad stakeholders and acting as an ambassador. 

Experienced UK executive with considerable commercial experience, starting in banking before moving into fast moving consumer goods.  With experience including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.  An in-depth knowledge of complex commercial businesses, borne from having been an executive for FTSE 100 and Dow Jones 100 large public companies, privately owned global companies, as well as VC owned and SME family businesses. 

Known for breadth of skills, intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence and high integrity..  Unafraid to challenge the norm in a constructive and collegiate manner.  Well respected by peers for a collaborative and harmonious approach.  Clear on the importance of remaining non-executive, independent, reflective and diplomatic.  Values led.

 Non Executive Director or Trustee for organisations or charities whose mission and purpose is synergistic with my own passions and interests, for which I can make a difference.

My specific interests include animals, environment, conservation,  sustainability, climate change, heritage, arts, health and social impact.
