About me

I'm a UK-based content creator, podcast and video host, and media lead with years of experience producing interview-led content across YouTube and social media. I currently host *Still Standing*, an interview series on my YouTube channel (@mabelsontan), where I research guests, lead in-depth conversations, and manage the full content journey from recording to distribution.

Alongside this, I volunteer as Media Lead for BOWorship UK, where I handle event promotion, social media content, team communications and live event coverage. I also speak at community events and co-lead a couples' life group with my husband.

My professional background is in health and social care, which has sharpened my ability to listen well, ask the right questions, and make people feel at ease - skills I bring directly into my hosting work.

I'm interested in storytelling that creates real-world impact, and i will love to use my media skills in service of a cause bigger than my own platform. Volunteering with CBS is an opportunity to do exactly that , putting my hosting and content experience behind conversations that could educate and inspire people globally.

What am I looking for?

I’m looking for hosting and media roles where I can use my interviewing and content creation skills in service of meaningful causes. I’m particularly drawn to roles that involve speaking with leaders, changemakers and experts - people whose stories deserve a wider audience.

I’m open to remote, flexible volunteer commitments that sit alongside my existing work. Podcast hosting, video presenting, panel facilitation or any role that combines storytelling with real-world impact would be a good fit.
