About me

I’m a project and operations professional with experience strengthening systems, improving processes, and supporting community‑focused programmes. My background spans project coordination, volunteer‑dependent event delivery, documentation development, onboarding design, and stakeholder engagement. I’ve worked across civic leadership programmes, community organisations, and nonprofit environments, and I’ve consistently focused on making structures clearer, more inclusive, and easier for people to navigate.

In my most recent role as a Project Officer, I coordinated seven multi‑stream programmes, developed the organisation’s Project Management Office, and improved documentation accuracy by 67%. I also redesigned onboarding processes, increased participant engagement by 45%, and created templates, guidance documents and workflows that made delivery smoother for both staff and volunteers. Alongside this, I’ve volunteered as a project manager for community events, supporting teams of volunteers and helping create environments where people feel confident, valued and supported.

Professionally, I’m skilled in process mapping, service design, governance, change management, and creating practical tools that make work easier for others. Personally, I’m someone who values clarity, empathy and structure. I enjoy listening, understanding how people experience systems, and turning insight into solutions that are simple, inclusive and sustainable. I’m organised, thoughtful, and comfortable working independently on defined projects while collaborating closely with others to shape outcomes.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about community development, writing, and exploring how organisations can build systems that empower people rather than overwhelm them. I’m currently a PhD student researching sustainable, people‑centred organisational structures, which has deepened my interest in how communities thrive when support systems are well‑designed.

I want to volunteer because your mission aligns strongly with what I care about — reducing barriers, strengthening inclusion, and helping people access opportunities that improve their wellbeing and future. I’m especially drawn to this role because it allows me to contribute strategically, using my skills to build foundations that make volunteering more accessible, more rewarding and more impactful. Even as a student, I’m eager to give my time because this work matters, and I believe I can add real value by helping create a volunteer programme that is clear, supportive and sustainable.

What am I looking for?

I am looking for causes and/or roles that afford me the opportunity to develop society, manage projects that directly impact society and/or individuals, no matter how minor.
