About me

Committed and effective Digital Champion, with a passion to ensure that individuals irrespective of their background, age or circumstances, understand, appreciate, learn and engage with digital technology, to help improve their lives generally. Formerly an extremely creative professional senior ICT manager, with a proven track record in successfully implement change and continuous improvements. An experienced leader capable of developing effective teams to achieve desired outcomes and objectives, whilst offering support, guidance and encouragement to ensure that individuals always feel valued and gain appropriate recognition for their successes.

I possess a very broad understanding and knowledge of current information, communications and digital technology including the cloud, and am always keen to keep a firm eye on future trends and developments - particularly from a business operational and strategic perspective. A clear and logical thinker, I have the ability to effectively communicate often technically complex information in a clear and concise manner. I am always willing to always go that extra mile, able to keep calm and level headed working under pressure, whilst still maintaining a sense of humour.

I have spent man years in the charity sector, and therefore wish to continue working and also volunteering in a similar field. I feel that my interpersonal skills are well developed, and I have an ability to get the best out of staff and suppliers alike to ensure agreed objectives are successfully met.

What am I looking for?

Seeking either suitable full-time, part-time or voluntary employment, where I can continue to use my skills, experience and initiative to good effect. I am particularly keen to offer my expertise where the focus is on helping people use, understand and benefit from using technology – particularly in the voluntary sector where smaller charities may need expert advice, or indeed supporting individuals who are perhaps more disadvantaged than others, especially when it comes to using new technology or seeking gainful employment opportunities.
