About me
I'm a procurement and supply chain professional with 6+ years' experience across logistics, procurement operations, and insurance advisory — most recently as a Logistics & Procurement Officer at Teltronica System Limited, where I helped reduce lead times and cut costs through better supplier management. I hold an MS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and am currently working toward CIPS, PRINCE2, APM, and SAP S/4HANA MM certifications. I currently volunteer in warehouse operations at the British Heart Foundation.
Skill
Personally: procurement strategy, supplier evaluation, contract management, RFI/RFP drafting, cost analysis, and stakeholder negotiation. Personally: clear communication, organisation, and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
Interest
Supply chain process improvement, sustainable procurement, and supporting organisations to get more value and impact from limited budget
Why i want to volunteer
I want to put my procurement and supply chain skills to direct use for a cause I care about helping a charity manage suppliers, contracts, or costs more effectively while building hands-on UK third-sector experience as I work toward my CIPS qualification and a permanent role in the sector.
What am I looking for?
Causes
I'm drawn to causes around poverty relief, health (e.g. organisations like the British Heart Foundation, where I currently volunteer), homelessness, and food security places where better procurement and supply chain practices can stretch a tight budget further and help services reach more people.
Roles I'd like to take on:
Procurement or supply chain support — supplier sourcing and evaluation, contract or tender support, cost-saving reviews, or supply chain process improvement. I'd also be interested in a trustee or advisory role where I can bring commercial/procurement oversight to a charity's operations.
