About me
A chartered management accountant who qualified in 1983, I have been working with various types of business across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk for over forty years and the last thirty as the most senior financial person within each organisation and have helped charities alongside this work.

- Extensive involvement in strategic direction of organisations across all functional boundaries and within different markets.
- Track record of acquisition and merger corporate work
- Contract negotiation (sales and procurement) and relationship building.
- Experience of company turnaround working and intensive cash management and refinancing.
- Business and property sale experience, deals of £1m - £20m
- Responsible for contractual and financial management of a £15m new factory capital project
- HR Director experience of company downsizing, recruitment, training, disciplinary, and grievance principles
- IT Director experience of project management and resource planning in differing environments including outsourcing.
- Dynamic problem solver with record of achievement
- Hands on manager with the ability to delegate and motivate effectively
- Acknowledged persuasive individual with experience of large audience presentations (100-200)
In April 2019 I took on a full time role with a youth charity taking a reduction in salary to make it viable for the charity. Since then I have reduced to four days per week to free time for other charitable work.
I am currently a Trustee with a charity for older people in sheltered .accommodation and would like to add another Trusteeship to this.
