About me

I have several years of experience working in health and social care, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and physical support requirements. In my current role as a Support Worker at Creative Support, I provide person-centred care, administer medication, support clients with daily tasks, and encourage them to engage in social and recreational activities. I also have a background in customer service and administration, which has strengthened my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

In addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered as a HIV/AIDS peer educator and was an active member of the Nigerian Red Cross and M.I.N.D initiatives, where I contributed to health awareness campaigns and community support programmes. These experiences helped me develop a deeper understanding of public health issues and reinforced my commitment to helping others.

I’m passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact. Volunteering allows me to share my skills while learning from others, connect with people from different backgrounds, and continue growing both personally and professionally.

What am I looking for?

I am particularly interested in volunteering roles that support vulnerable individuals, especially those dealing with mental health issues, learning disabilities, or social isolation. I’m passionate about promoting well-being, independence, and dignity, and I find great fulfilment in helping people live more meaningful lives. My background in public administration and care work has equipped me to support both individuals and teams in a calm, organised, and compassionate manner.
