Our objectives
The charity works for the public benefit having as its objects the development and education of children and young people in particular by:
1. promoting their care and safety
2. promoting their education and promoting parental involvement
3. promoting their health and wellbeing
4. providing services to support them and their families and carers
5. providing services to individuals holding membership of the CIO
6. furthering the aims of the Pre-school Learning Alliance
Our activities
The Village Preschool E17 is a long established childcare setting, with over 30 years of experience working with families of Walthamstow. You won’t find a location like ours anywhere else. We are committed to ensuring our children have as much outdoor time as possible.
The children play and learn in a classroom filled with natural light free-flowing onto a south-facing garden. When the kids need even more space to run around the staff open the gates on to the cricket field.
But it’s not just that, we also have a dedicated Forest School area and two fully qualified Forest School Practitioners within the team. Sessions take place 4 times a week, although the kids will find they spend more time there during the spring and summer terms.
