Our beneficiaries are victims of hidden crimes of honour based abuse, force marriage, female genital mutilation and modern slavery.
We provide one to one support to victims to enable them to become survivors, to live fulfilled lives and to have a strong voice in all aspects of their lives. We train professionals (police, legal, social services, housing, health, education) to understand these hidden crimes and to refer victims to our service.
Our impact is in enabling victims to take full control of their lives.
We take referrals (including self referrals) and listen to victims' concerns. We support them identify these concerns, plan how to address them and to work with them to reach their goals.
We provide training for professionals (social services, police, legal, housing, health, education) to enable them to identify and understand these context of these hidden crimes. Courses help professionals understand the role and work of True Honour to have confident in referring victims for our support.
