Objectives

Turnberrie’s is owned by South Gloucestershire Council and managed and maintained under lease by the Thornbury Community Building Trust (TCBT).The Trust was formed as a charity (No. 1118127) in 2006 in anticipation of the new building which opened in 2007. TCBT is made up of Trustees whose aim is to ensure that the building serves the needs of the Thornbury community and reinvests funds back into the centre.

Turnberrie’s is also the home of a Youth Centre, run by Krunch.

Turnberrie’s Community Centre is a great venue with an ideal location for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, social events, recreational activities, training & education, workshops, seminars and for that special occasion.

We host a wide variety of activities at the centre working with a variety of different groups. These include working with disabled, elderly and toddlers and new-borns. We offer this alongside exercise, dancing, yoga, weight management and many other activities you would expect to find in a local community centre.

As a non-profit making charity, we are committed to reinvesting all funds back into the centre and the Thornbury community.
