Objectives

Outreach 3Way (part of Dimensions UK) is a Sussex charity with a strong local reputation that provides support for people with learning disabilities and autism in East and West Sussex.

With a strong presence in the community and with local businesses, the people Outreach 3Way supports enjoy opportunities to connect with people in their local area and to learn new skills.

There is a strong emphasis on sport, arts and self-expression, as well as residential and support options.

By volunteering with us, you will be helping people with learning disabilities and autism to achieve more. It will also give you the chance to meet some great people, to develop new skills and experiences…and to have fun!

Our volunteers play a vital role in our work, and you will make a huge and positive contribution to improving the lives of the people we support.

Activities

Outreach 3Way offers a range of services:

  • One to One Plus provides an innovative, flexible service for people with learning disabilities, supporting people in their own homes, in the community, on holiday or wherever the support is needed – from as little as a few hours a week to 24-7. We support people to live the life they want, and achieve a standard of living that meets their needs. We actively encourage greater control and support individual choices.
  • Our Day Centre in Ifield runs a number of groups and workshops to encourage creativity and self-expression. The centre is a hub of activity, welcoming people we support across Sussex to join groups and workshops.
  • Out SMILE unit enables people with complex needs to develop new skills and get the right support. There's a timetable filled with activities including sensory cooking, hand and foot massage, music and movement sessions and time in our sensory room. People supported in SMILE can integrate with the Day Centre and take part in a variety of community activities.
  • Out There! provides sports and leisure services for people with learning disabilities or autism across West Sussex, providing a wide range of activities taking place in the community including swimming, Boccia, music, art, football, gym sessions, badminton, cycling and multi sports suitable for all levels of availability.
