Our objectives

OTOutdoors CIC is a group of qualified HCPC registered occupational therapists offering therapeutic outdoor nature based activities that are designed for accessibility and collective development in social and practical skills.

Our mission is to bring occupational therapy and people together in nature to help improve quality of life, build confidence and develop skills by participating in meaningful nature-based activities.

We find creative solutions to overcoming physical, psychological, social and environmental barriers to accessing nature. We encourage appreciation of nature by planning activities that increase knowledge and appreciation of the natural world.

Our activities

We work with groups and individuals with identified health or social care needs, marginalised people, and anyone who would benefit from increased access to nature, and provide tailored therapeutic interventions in welcoming green spaces and 1:1 therapeutic nature based work to support long term positive outcomes for individuals and communities.

OTOutdoors create an open and inclusive space to support people to work together.  We tailor activities to the needs of individuals and groups, offering gardening, growing, outdoor cooking and craft.
