Objectives

The HBA is an umbrella organisation which supports and represents the independent charities and voluntary organisations which provide health, welbeing & hospital radio services across the UK.

We do this by providing training and networking opportunities, at a regional and national level, by producing newsletters and e-magazines to keep hospital broadcasters up-to-date, by staging the annual National Hospital Radio Awards, by publishing guidance and model documents, and by liaising with government departments, the NHS, and other national organisations on behalf of our membership.

We are entirely volunteer-run, and are a "virtual" organisation, with our volunteers working from home and no head office.
